The Weekly Reset: Embrace the Taper

Marathon Month is here and you know what that means: taper time.

Once you've set your goal and done the work, it can be tough to sit back and wait for race day, but embracing the taper is key to achieving your goal. So, don't dread it and don't fight it because there really is no reason to struggle against resting.

Instead, whether you're racing or not this month, celebrate some time to slow down, recognizing that taking the time to recover is part of the plan; it's just as important and equally as productive as everything else you do. Take a walk, do some yoga, meditate on achieving your goal, enjoy the view... If you want to be able to go hard, you have to rest easy.
