MEET TED
After growing up racing motocross around the country from the age of 8, Ted took up triathlon in college after being inspired by his mom who signed up for a local tri a few weeks prior. Triathlon has been a major part of Ted's life ever since. His big goal moving forward is to compete at the World Championships in Kona.

"Being an Athlete for Yoga, to me, means being an example and resource for how yoga can benefit the body and mind. Much of stretching, warm ups, and Resets benefit the body greatly by prepping and actively healing."
"I use Athletes for Yoga in three ways. The first way is done before those big workouts through the Yoga For Runners section of Athletes for Yoga Video. Getting the blood flowing and the body ready for each session is crucial and keeps training consistent. During workouts and particularly tough ones, I use breathing techniques shown in Chapter 2 of Work IN book. For me, its all about slowing the mind down and letting the body operate at high level. Finally, before bed and after a few sessions, putting my legs up the wall is my favorite way to end the day. I learned this from the Recovery Boost for Runners video."
